Amazon Dash Scale and Alexa Media Player

Searches haven’t come up with much. I’m curious if the custom Alexa Media Player integration exposes the Amazon Dash Scale?

I’ve got a couple projects that a cheap scale pre-built would be good for, but have not found much on the topic. I lack the time to build my own right now and doubting I could keep them under the $20 cost of a Dash Scale anyway.

I don’t have any experience with the Dash Scale, but previous experience with other Amazon and “Made for Alexa” devices would indicate it is highly unlikely.

I seriously doubt it.

as the name implies that custom integration is only for exposing the Amazon Echo devices to HA as media players for use in TTS, etc.

I think it wouldn’t know what to do with a non-speaker based device.
