Can this old tablet be use for a wall mount display? Nothing fancy. I just want it to control lights around the house, active some automation. I do not have any camera system in the house.

The HD6 looks like it’s much older. It will probably be super laggy with Lovelace. That said, I use HADashbord and it works great. It is very light. So it would probably work well on old hardware.

I can confirm HAdashboard runs in pretty basic hardware!
Can’t see why not, if you used something like project rotini which is a native app for Android rather than the web based stuff then it may be quick enough.
I don’t use it myself, but have tried project rotini in the past and was quite impressed.
