I built a small AppDaemon integration that maps Dexcom CGM glucose readings to the colours of a 6-bulb IKEA pillar lamp — one lamp per glucose band, bottom to top.
Each lamp has a fixed role:
- Lamp 1 (bottom) — urgent low
- Lamp 2 — low
- Lamps 3–4 — in range
- Lamp 5 — high
- Lamp 6 (top) — urgent high
