Hi,
For some reason I’m getting brittish accent for the english TTS. I want american accent, but now matter what I put in, both in the configuration or in a service call as language, I still end up with brittish accent. Any way to fix this?

That TTS service would appear to have only one language setting for English. See the link to the list of languages here:

Not sure if the code supports setting the dialect from your specified Home Assistant region.
I tried setting that setting to en-US to no avail, it’s still English (british english). I guess it could be related like you say to the region set for Home assistant?

Ive chosen the British voice in my android settings but sometimes my TTS will be American and sometimes British
Could be it uses the web browser location setting.
We really need a way to set this manually according to our taste. I know some people really hate the amer… brittish accent
