Awesome update! Sadly some of the servers I access share the same SSID (different networks though). Would love to be able to identify the correct wifi via BSSID in future.

You can also switch servers in Settings > Companion app > [tap on the server name] > Activate.

There aren’t any special enhancements in the Amazon version, it is using the minimal version. You can use the Play Store version if you have that set up (but as Google doesn’t support it, we can’t officially offer it).

The link only works if you already have the Amazon Appstore installed on your device.

You can! Enter BSSID: as the network name, followed by the BSSID.

Thanks A LOT guys for your work, the list of changes is huge!

Amazon App Store!? What sort of madness is this?

It’s for Windows, release an MSI, MSIX, EXE, PowerShell Script, or even an install via the HA Instance.

Is it what you are looking for?

On my realme I also have problem with switching using 3 fingers gesture - 3 fingers up show the desktop of phone, 3 fingers left or right do nothing, switching via settings-app is stupid - too long time to switch/run second home - faster I can just run second app with other home installed for example from f-droid . Will be nice to add widget with each homes, so you click widget and You get app with selected home or add “switch home” as card in HA - you touch the card and switch to another home

When I try to touch anywhere with three fingers and move left or right , HA interprets it as a touch with one finger and, for example, opens the entity history or weather forecast

This means your device is already using the 3 finger swipe gesture for something else, unfortunately there are some devices that do this. In order to use the 3 finger swipe gesture you will need to turn this feature off in your device settings so that it does not override the in app feature. We also mention this in the docs

Wow! Thank you so much!
The new app is blazing fast! Awesome! :star_struck:

You need to disable 3 finger gestures in android settings

3 fingers up was associated to “split screen” , finally i found option to disable it. What is funny now also 3 fingers left/right working.

Does notifications working on Windows11?
image

They should work but the Windows Subsystem for Android needs to be active. By default, Windows will shut it down a few minutes after you’ve last used the app. Like the error message says, the app isn’t currently connected to local push notifications, so it is no longer active.

Long press for launcher shortcuts doesn’t work.
I think a server widget would be more comfortable

Has anybody tested how scanning NFC tags works with this? To be more specific: if both locations have their own NFC automations, will scanning the tags work seamlessly without having to switch the active server? If so, would a cloned tag allow to actually trigger an automation at both locations simultaneously?

Scanned NFC tag events are sent to all connected servers as the app doesn’t know which server it belongs to (that isn’t written to the tag, and the tag may be created by another device!).

works on lineage os and does not work on oxygen os :frowning:

I’m having an issue with NFC scans on my phone, they were working fine until the update with multiple servers and now I can only trigger NFC tags for my home. I created tags for my dad’s home from my app and they work fine for him, just not for me. He only has his server connected, I have both mine and his.
My NFC tags work fine, but I can’t trigger his at all. It’s not set up to be triggered by a specific user. I have tried clearing my app cache but it didn’t help.

Did you check in the app that the server for the nfc actions is defined correctly?

I’m not finding where to configure a server for the NFC actions; I thought those were broadcast to all servers? I can only see where the server is configured (looks fine), or where to set up new NFC tags.

His server is accessible using port forwarding and via HA Cloud, and I have the port forwarding address configured… I’ll try the HA Cloud address and see if that makes a difference.
