So I have the android app installed on a Fire Tablet running Fire Toolbox.
In dev options I have the screen permanently on so it never turns off.
What happens though is the app itself closes down so every so often when I look at it I just see the app list rather than my dashboard.
Can you suggest any troubleshooting?
I tried enabling all the options in the app that would keep it alive.
There should be a failure in the companion app logs. Look at the failure to see the cause of the error, it might be in the recent crash tab in the logs.
I had a look and it only has few minutes worth of logs - interestingly it’s the logs before I turned it back on so it looks like it’s up in the background just hides itself for whatever reason.
so its possible something in the webview is crashing, those fire tablet devices unfortunately ship with sometimes outdated webview taht cannot be changed. Do you have any custom cards? Maybe start with disabling those if you do as they could be causing webview to crash.
