Has anyone seen the Android companion app unable to see the device’s own IP address?
I have 2 phones setup with (almost) exactly the same sensor settings, but one phone won’t read it’s IP address.
Working phone: Android 13
Not working phone: Android 11
From the companion app sensors, I see:
- Network Type:
Wifi - WiFi IP Address - Enabled - but shows
<not connected> - Wifi Connection - Enabled and correctly shows the Wifi that it’s connected to
I can ping the phone from a laptop, so I know it’s on the network
Disabling the device’s wifi changes Network Type to unavailable - and yes, the pinging stops…
Location permission is granted…
Any ideas?
