I have the android remote working well with my Sony Bravia. I am struggling with deep links for the Foxtel App (Australia). Anyone know a solution to this? I’ve tried a number of different configs with no joy. I’ve added the app address that appears on the tv but when I press the button, the tv asks which App I’d like to open and internet explorer is my only option. Netflix, Prime, Disney and YouTube work flawlessly.

Been looking for you to post on the other thread. I have the same question sorta. I have all Samsungs and I have not found any simple way to launch anything on them. I’m now considering Sony, etc. to get Android TV and the ability to do what you are trying to do. I run everything in my world through AppleTV happily and easily short of Foxtel who will, of course, not produce a Foxtel app for the AppleTV.
