Android TV - Custom "now playing" cover art for active apps

Hi everyone,

I have configured the AndroidTV platform, and it works perfectly.
The only thing is that Android TV / Nvidia shield doesn’t display the information of what is currently playing when using apps such as Netflix or Hulu, instead you get the name of the app.

What I was wondering is if it would be possible to create a Logo image of the app that displays instead of just having a blank screen… e.g: when I open the Netflix app on my Nvidia Shield, a “Netflix” logo image would show as the cover art as long as the app is open.

is this possible?
