Without knowing that other people were working on the same thing, I started working on a telegram bot for HA. It was only when I came here to write this post that I realized that it was already done 
Anyway, here it is. Right now it doesn’t do much except report on entity status, but I do plan to continue building on it and expand functionality as I grow my HA setup.
