Any light blubs with local IP control?

(I don’t want to bounce them off a cloud or need an active internet connection to use them)

I just moved and I’m looking to upgrade my old 433 / nodeMCU system. Are there any light bulbs that can be truned off and on over a local network. Can anyone recommend some, preferably something that can be purchased off Amazon.

*Update

Sorry, people clearly didn’t understand what I was asking. That’s my fault.

I only want ready to use of of the box wi-fi bulbs … not additional hubs, bridges or relays.

Something like the original yehee lights that could run off a udp and had public source code examples.

I think this might be something: Shelly - Shelly

Shelly would work, but by far the best solution when it comes to lights is HUE from Phillips.

Both work completely autonomous - no need for cloud or internet if you don’t want that.

Hue works. Anything ZWave or Zigbee as well. Need to know OP’s geography before you can recommend anything else because of power requirements.

I think you might be looking for LIFX? None of mine are connected to the internet and work great locally.

Lifx works locally. They are not cheap but I have found they are high quality and rock solid.

Anthom sells bulbs pre flashed with ESPhome and WLED which are both local only and open source.

I have been very happy with the operation and customer service using these USA market WiFi bulbs with both Tasmota and ESPHome, good hunting!
