Just wondering if its possiable
No.
If you have a slower machine (RaspberryPi) you can OC the Pi, or better still, update to a faster machine, like an old PC or Laptop.
That’s one of the options I was thinking… just thought if it were just a couple of command line entries it might be easy…
So… with an old PC id load Rasbian… the load the HASS.IO for that flavor Linux…
Do you know if I can use one of my snapshots or do I need to star from scratch…
No, you would use something like Ubuntu or Debian.
Now called Home Assistant Supervised.
Yes. Download a current snapshot and you can restore it on the new machine.
Follow my guide HERE for Ubuntu and HA Supervised on a PC/Laptop.
Thank you VERY MUCH!
