Any Powerline Sensors available

Hi *,

I want to hook up a power measurement socket to our washing mashine. I had the idea that maybe there is some device with the following features:

  • power/energy sensor
  • web server
  • powerline connectivity

This way I would not need any ethernet or wifi connectivity an could simply use the power grid to transmit the sensor data.

Does any know of such devices?

Edit: I think this could be a nice kind of device for switching sockets as well, since they only need a very low bandwidth for this.

I found this for some DIY solution. Maybe someone is interested in this. For my application its too expensive.

I have the same task. My wife wants to see when washing is over. There is no WiFi available in the washing room but I’m able to connect via PowerLine.
At the moment I see only this solution:
TP-LINK TL-WPA8631P + i.e. Gosund EP2 Smart Socket

I already have TP-Link TL-PA7010P and Gosund EP2 so it should fit. But would be nice to know if there is a better (and cheaper) solution.
