Anybody has experience of a compatible smart plug sold on Amazon India. Here are some plugs being sold:

Bumping an old thread I suppose. However to answer your question, you can use the Wipro smart plug with Home Assistant provided you disconnect it from the wipro next app and instead set it up in Smart Life. You can then use the official Tuya integration OR Local Tuya to avoid the cloud and yet have full control to the plug and its sensors.

I purchased https://amzn.eu/d/48sfP8G today and the sensors don’t seem to be available on hass. Any thoughts?
You using the official Tuya integration for this? Try switching to Local Tuya if possible. I use ~45 Tuya devices (plugs, lights, switches) by various manufacturers and they work great.

Yes, I’m using Tuya. Will try localtuya, I had tried once already but somewhere got too stuck and didn’t have the patience last time. Any resources that you can share?

Philips Wiz 16 amp plug works right out of box after setting up with wiz app.
I am looking for 10amp plugs which don’t use tuya at all.
Please do suggest if you know any.
I haven’t tried this but there are mentions about Zunpulse 10A plugs that works. I haven’t seen that in stock for so many months. I am also searching for 10A plugs. Alternative option is, use normal 6A socket with smart switch that you can control with home assistant.
