I have a grow room automation and I was trying to figure out how I would do this and I nd of guess its going to be something simple. But what I would like to do is have a button that starts counting days until its stopped by pressing the button off.
I was thinking an automation that counts how long that button was on but I am not sure how to display it or if thats over complicating the issue…
This may give you some inspiration.
At the push of the button save the current date/time.
In a sensor calculate the number of days passed.
See Count days since last time?
and
Template to show days days / hours passed since switch on?
