Any way to get timers from Alexa?

Are there any components or custom components that have been developed to pull information from the echo? The biggest thing that I want is the ability to pull timers set on my echo dot into HA to perform automations with them.

I’d like to be able to say “Alexa, set a timer for 30 minutes” and then have an RGB bulb slowly transition from green to red via an automation.
