Any way to remove the left panel in HASS configurator on a Hassio installation?

I noticed the following in the repo for HASS configurator:

Standalone mode that hides the Home Assistant related panel on the left side (triggers, entities etc.). Set HASS_API to None or use the commandline flag -s / --standalone to enable this mode.

Is there any way to do this in the Hassio add-on version of HASS configurator? It would free up a nice chunk of space.
