Any way to stop HA from auto-grouping automations and other sections?

Although I repeatedly select ‘Don’t Group’ from the ‘Group by Category’, the next time I open the Automations (or other) section, I find the ‘Group by Category’ has auto-changed to grouping. Is there a permanent means to stop this auto-grouping?

2024.6 didn’t seem to make any difference. I still see this annoying issue despite having 2024.9.1 installed.

Just to reiterate… The ‘Don’t group’ option is not retained when moving away from and returning to my Automations, Scenes or Scripts.

Clear your cache and try again, the feature was definitely added.

Hi, thanks for the update but despite clearing the cache (and trying a different browser) the issue persists. Looking at it further I think there may be an error in the coding…

  • For Automations, Scenes and Scripts selecting Don’t group reverts to Group by Category the next time I visit the table.
  • But for Blueprints if I select Don’t group then this setting is retained the next time I visit the table and shows as Group by alone.
