Any work done around cleaning chore reminders?

Wondering if there is any substantial work done around cleaning chore reminders in a custom component?
I read this post which uses automations.

There’s an app called Tody on the app store where you can create reminders for vacuuming and dusting etc.

Who knows, home assistant seems like a better place for this information than an app on my phone that doesn’t integrate anywhere.

I have a persistent message that tells my wife to take the garbage out… but that’s more to mess with her

You could use esphome with this too lest code. Just esphome was not out then
