I’m in talks with ledvance, and they are very interested in helping out with the codes needed for the integration.
Unfortunately I’m not a coder for many years, so I’m a bit at a loss with it.
I remember some posts that they are actually using tuya as backend, so you can try to pair their lights in tuya app, give it a try.
Due to GDPR restrictions they unfortunately do not allow the usage of the tuya app
That was my first attempt.
I’m going to test out the localtuya custom integration, maybe that can work.
But how are they controlling/limiting/restricting of usage of tuya app? To make localtuya work, you need to add your devices to tuya app and get device ids from their servers.
Well I can get the device id’s from ledvance, so I hope it can be done, it works in openhab, so I’m crossing fingers (we can’t have something that works in openhab and not in HA! )
And as I said, I have now a contact in Ledvance in Denmark that can help with stuff that is needed.
