Tried to look for youtube videos and checked the blakadder database but none found. Moes generally seems like a trusted brand. Cant use mains switches here.
Looks like a “TS0044” to me.
It’s quite picky, look for that reference in the forum
I would call this as remote control with buttons rather than switches. I am using couple of tuya based remote controls with 4 buttons. You can set actions for single, double, triple, long etc presses. So far, i am happy with this.
i take it ts0041/42/43 are the other switches there? I have a section of house that has no mains electricity that i have 24v dc running into, but i dont want to run more wires for new switches by the doors. Instead id like to use mqtt or rf switches for the lights there, that are currently operated by ha from my phone, rather not devices using tuya cloud or other cloud services, i have bad experience with those. Rf switches cant give feedback on their state right and/or sync with ha? Which is fine if there are no leds showing the light state, which again is much better for power consumption
UPDATE: After i read all the comments on Aliexpress it seems like the device is a model TS004F which gives a lot more to read on.
TS004F works fine now in HA with zigbee mqtt. Takes some magic incantations to configure, but it’s working fine now. At first i thought it wasn’t responding to presses quickly, but that seems to be related if you use local zigbee or cloud tuya stuff. With local zigbee lights it’s instantaneous.
Planning to cover these over all the existing lightswitches and leave the switch to always on. 12 scenes is amazing.
Yes, even having 3 scenes for the single button version sounds amazing. And if the battery truly lasts that long it would be a great solution to have instead of replacing the whole switch with the need to tinker with mains.
Just needs some sort of 3d printed raiser that would cover the mains switches and where i could glue the scene switch onto, which would also prevent people from touching the og switches. A cheapo way, maybe not so pretty.
I did exactly that. I ordered this Magnetic Cover Plate for Smart Lights/bulbs UK Light | Etsy UK and put the tuya switch with doubleside on top of it, with some spacers to hold it nice and tight around the mains switch. I can easily take it off if needed, and it looks really professional.
I guess i wish i had always on led lights but i can’t ask for that with a battery powered light. Besides they light up when i touch them and i already have plenty of lights in the house. But yes, no way i am going to replace all my switches anymore. The etsy print is a bit expensive for what it is, but it works well.
For a while i think it wouldn’t work properly but now that i am switching everything from cloud to zigbee/e.g. local, a world of lag has gone away and this switch performs great.
Wish i could use magnets on my light switches… As the law in my country allows for me to take the cover off the mains switch i think i need to make them custom that can be tightened on with the same screws that hold the plastic cover. Those screws are metal but so small i doubt any magnet will reliably hold onto them.
They fit on any standard lightswitch, neodymium very strong magnets.
