Was wondering if anyone had a switchbot bot they had laying around they wanted to get rid of for cheaper than the $30 a new one costs. I have a stupid use for one that doesn’t justify spending $30 
Probably a good idea to tell where you live, or shipping cost could be higher than the $30 
I bought a “fingerbot” zigbee one for €15 on Ali. Didn’t work for my use-case…

I have and old, dumb garage door opener. I built an esp orientation sensor for the garage door state (my excuse to start playing with esphome devices), and need something to trigger opening and closing. I could go smarter and get a ratgo or build something, but a switchbot hitting our existing garage door button on the wall would be funnier.
Thanks for the zigbee fingerbot suggestion. Just got one for $9 on Ali with free shipping. Switchbot no longer needed!
