Anyone having trouble with Tuya devices?

I have a few that are specifically mapped to a card, and those say entity not available. The rest of the light switches are not showing up with the other lights in the light card like they used to. When I try to log into the Tuya app itself, I get “remote api run unknow failed” and nothing displayed. Any ideas?

Maybe it’s not a Tuya thing.
I’m using the Smart Life app and I’m trying to pair Wi-Fi LED bulbs (Brand: Gosund) and I’m getting the same error as you: “remote api run unknow failed”

Yes, I’m having trouble with both the Tuya and Smart Life app, neither of which will add a new Lohas smart light bulb. I also get the “remote API unknow failed” alert, when using either app.

I am using the Smart Life and I am receiving the same error on all the pages of the app.

The app seems to be back up now but still have the same issue within HA.

I was having issues today, and only today also. I have changed nothing and issues are now gone. Methinks the TUYA network was the one having the issues.

as a side note, I believe that only one ‘thing’ can talk to the lights at a time - either the app on your phone or the tuya cloud integration - if you have the app open, HA can’t talk to the switches.

Or I dreamt reading this.
