Hi there - I’ve been looking for ages but can’t find hardware that will do what I want, though it seems like a common use case so I’m sure there must be something out there.
Does anyone know of a zigbee comparable dimmer that will work in a multiway setup and ideally with neutral only. So what I need to achieve is the following. This is a for a UK lighting system
- I have a multiway light setup for the landing lights - there are three points the lights can be turned on/off from (this is using what is sometimes called a traveller system but is pretty much UK standard) e.g. the switches at the end are 2 -way and the one in the middle is multi way (aka intermediate).
- The switches at the end are MK grid setups i.e. they are 2 and 3 gang with other circuits attached. The intermediate is a 1 gang.
- I want to add a dimmer to this system - it’s probably easiest if it replaces the 1 gang multi way. Ideally this would be a real rotary dimmer but I could just use a unit that hides in the back box and is controlled remotely.
Does this exist? I can’t find a zigbee 1 gang multi way rotary dimmer anywhere - I tired the candeo dimmer which said it was multiway but it only works with momentary switches while I have rockers. Help! I’d take other creative solutions too - I just want to use HA to zigbee dim the lights at night.
