Hello.

Can anyone recommend an alternative to MotionEye software for Home Assistant/hassio
Running 2x PTZ cams, requiring time lapse mainly. Motion detection optional.

Out of curiosity, what is issue with MotionEye? (In process of setting up something similar and planning on using MotionEye .)

MotionEye has a timelapse feature. I guess it’s a little buggy but since it has a auto still image capture you can just run a script to create the timelapse movie from the stills.

Its having problems displaying a foscam PTZ camera on a regular basis. Its on fo a bit then disappears. No rhyme or reason.
Have also noticed my data usage go up with motioneye installed even with camera streaming disabled. Havent managed to get to the bottom of why yet so gonna use something else for now. The HA is installed on a limited 40Gb a month contact (mobile install).

Zoneminder (alternative) has been solid for almost a year on my setup.
Great reviewing process for past recorded events, easy to set up an SD card or hard drive for footage storage too :+1:
