Anyone using Zigbee keypad like Centralite?

I’d like to have a physical keypad form arming/disarming my Home Assistant Alarm

Something like https://centralite.com/products/security-keypad
I can’t find any doucumentation how it works, but it says it’s supports Zigbee HA 1.2 and that’s a start.

Anyone tried it?

This looks awesome. I’ve been looking for something like this in years! Really hoping this can be used in HA, hopefully by pairing with conbee.

Wattle uses that for example: https://www.elgiganten.se/product/smart-hem/styrenhet-till-smart-hem/WASECURITKIT/wattle-connected-home-sakerhetskit

Unfortunately, as usual, no local API, only could services.

I managed to find a used one online for a good price, but i havent been able to get it to pair to zigbee2mqtt just yet!

Crossing my fingers!

Ive managed to get it to pair, but not much past that!

I made some progress tonight, but still not a whole lot.

To arm the alarm system according to the docs, you press your mode, and then the pin code.
Z2M is now picking up the arm mode, but nothing else.

Not super useful. I can see there are cases of people getting it to work with smartthings, so its gotta be possible!

Hello,

were you able to make it work with your Hass.io instance? I’m able to connect and see in zigbee2mqtt the different events going in. However I’m stuck here.
What to do next to setup correctly the pin code and build automation around it?

Anyone could share their experience with it?

Thanks

Hi @ninja-2,
I am thinking of buying it to link it with my manual alarm control panel.
Do you know if it is possible to start making it ring lightly when someone enters the house, before the alarm gets off?

Hello,

I didn’t find any option for this. The only noise that the keypad makes it’s when you press a button or when it activate/deactivate (with 6 key codes) the alarm.
