I am new to HACS components.
I have installed both apexcharts-card and mini-graph-card. I can see them as Lovelace cards in HACS > Frontend. They are also listed as resources (Settings > Dashboards > … > Resources).
I thought that I could create e.g. new Apexchart to my dashboard by using ‘Add Card’ button (in Dashboard edit view) but no Apexchart or Mini Graph cards are listed as an option to be added. What have I missed?
If the cards do not have a user interface you have to add them by using the Manual Card and add the configuration using YAML.
Or (shorter than scrolling or searching for the manual card) just select the Button Card then click on “Show Code Editor” at the bottom of the UI card editor and replace the YAML with your config.
That is what I do in 95% percent when I need to add any custom card or just paste some code from a clipboard…
The code editor view was something that I was looking for. Works now perfectly. Thanks!
