App crashing on start, no way to reset

I’ve changed the port to my Home Assistant instance (from a non-standard one to a standard one).

I then tried to change it in the iOS app, but after tapping on the Settings icon the app crashed.

After that, every time I launch the app, I can see that it goes into the Settings screen and then crashes again.

I tried deleting the app and re-installing, but it doesn’t help.

I tried setting my phone into Airplane Mode, the app loads into the Settings screen and does not crash, but it doesn’t let me save the updated Home Assistant URL either. If I disable Airplane Mode and return to the app, it crashes immediately.

I’ve got experience with iOS development so if you want me to try and extract crash logs let me know!

(Seems relevant to iOS app crashes when I click on the settings button as well?)

Go into your home assistant configuration and disable the ios component. That stopped the crashes for me and I could then reconfigure the companion app and then re-enable the ios component.

Just turn off wifi and access it over WAN
