My Android home assistant app stoped working, I just get an all black screen. Then after a while options to wait, go to some settings and 3. Refresh external url, that doesn’t change anything… Anyway, I changed nothing. The App is up to date, last time I checked the the home assistant server was also up to dat, but now, as the app is down I don’t have access to it anymore.
I forgot how to log in via my laptop, IP:8123 is not working. Pinging IP is working. The IP address is not named in my router, its just showing as generic.
I tried to power cycle the pi my HA is running on, its not changeing anything.
Come to think about it I might not have accesed HA since I started an update of HA…
How to procede from this point please!?
Sorry, homeassistant app, was not aware that other apps existed.
HA os, is running on a raspberry pi 4B, wired network.
I managed to find the IP of the Pi i can ping the pi, but trying to acces through IP:8123 is not working.
So now that all is on the table, does anybody know how to fix this problem?
Do I realy have to start all over, is there no way to fix this?
It feels like the most likely reason for the problem is a software update, but I always make sure I check the backup ticker, but if I’m unable to get in contact with the pi when I have a problem after an update, then the backup is worthless and I will probably pretty much stop upgrading when updates come out in fear of messing up my installation of HA OS.
