Hi guys, I’m 2 week old newbie in HA.
I’m currently struggling to get my homekit devices into HA. I’m currently testing those devices but however I can’t seem to get those device into my HA. For an example, my aqara door lock.
It does show up & works on my apple home. But what is configuration steps required to add into HA ?

Simple answer for every HomeKit device in the world. Pair it to HomeKit as normal so it is on your network - go in to Apple Home app and remove it (don’t factory reset it) so that it is no longer paired and immediately your Home Assistant instance will offer to pair the device…use the pairing code you were given for HomeKit and Bob’s your uncle - you are now paired to Home Assistant.
No HomeKit device can ever be paired to 2 systems at once.
homekit and HA and aqara can also be very specific.
if you’re running HA in Docker on Windows, network-mode: host isn’t supported, auto discovery of devices (including of course HomeKit devices, like Aqara FP2) won’t auto show up. i haven’t found a solution yet for this.
