Apple iCloud Integration Stopped Working

Happened out of the blue, I did update to 10.3. Maybe I just answered my own question……

Anyway getting login errors and authentication errors. I didn’t change my credentials, and I tested them on apples cloud website.

Edit - I tried the Apple Cloud and the iCloud v3 integrations with identical results.

Should I roll back or do these log excerpts make sense to someone?

Based on your post, I checked mine, and I’m getting errors too using iCloud v3. And I haven’t updated anything since the start of last month.

Ok I guess we wait for an update for the integration.

What’s interesting is the caldav integration for Reminders and Calendar iOS integrations is working perfectly.

I encountered the same error as well. What is unusual is that even after rolling back to a version prior to 10.3, I am still unable to access my iCloud account.

I tried making a new app-generated password and still no luck.

Oh well, I only use this to monitor my daughters cellular iwatch location.

Hopefully Monday we will have a fix.

I see here on the forum that the problem is known, so I will write my experience (if I repeat the content of any of the posts, I apologize).
A few days ago my Apple iCloud integration stopped working, I think the problem is related to the inability to log in to my iCloud account.
I uninstalled the integration, reinstalled and set it up from scratch. After entering my iCloud account credentials, I got the message “Unknown error occurred”.
Today I tried to configure the iCloud3 integration, setting it up ends up on not being able to log into Apple iCloud, the error message reads like this “Login Error, Other Error or iCloud is not Available”.
Looks like the problem is on Apple’s side. Does anyone know what’s going on? How will it be in the future with Apple integration into HA? Thanks for the reply!

Got the same - i am fine with waiting but i would like to deactivate that one in between - for other intergrations the “three dots” do offer this, but not for that one.

Same problem here. I also created an app password and that doesn’t work, either. Prior to this, I was able to use my regular iCloud password but I figured I’d try an app password anyway.

Also issue here too, thought I’d done something dumb so deleted integration then went to re add it and days invalid credentials. Reset my password from iPhone then retried same error about invalid authentication.

There is a temporary workaround wich works in 2024.10 and 2024.11

Anyone know when this will be fixed? It didn’t show up in 2024.11.0

The issues seem to be fixed in 2024.11.2 and the account password started working. App-specific password seems not to be working.

I just added the integration with a app-specific password and it`s working.

Me too. First try with app specific password did not work but with account password and 2FA. Than I deleted the integration again and tried the app password again and it worked.
