Apple TV - Cannot reinstall Apple TV integration

Hi All,

Appreciate any help here.

I installed the Apple TV inregration and everything went fine.

I then uninstalled the integration (new to HA and was playing around) and when I tried to reinstall Apple TV I couldnt.

At the very beginning Apple TV was auto detected but not anymore. So I seach for Apple TV in integrations and add integration. I am asked for the IP address and I add the IP address in Apple TV settings. I am then asked for a pin number, which is displayed and I enter it. Then i get the error

  • Aborted. The configuration for this device is incomplete. Please try adding it again.

For other reasons, I have completely factory reset the Apple TV and I have started a HA again from the beginning but the same problem persists.

Any help would be most appreciated.

Hi,

I am getting the same error as well. My apple tvs were not longer providing status to HA, so I decided to remove them and reinstall the integration. When I attempt to add them back, I get PIN code, enter and get them error message.

The configuration for this device is incomplete. Please try adding it again

Just found you need to install the beta if you are running TV OS 15
