Apple TV still turns on after HA restart

I’ve tried everything, but my Apple TV still turns on after HA restart. :confused:

I have 0.91.2 Home Assistant on Ubuntu.

this config is in the mediaplayers.yaml

  • platform: apple_tv
    host: 192.168.1.26
    login_id: “login-id-removed”
    name: Bedroom Apple TV
    start_off: true

Tried to use true, “true”, yes, “yes” for start_off. Nothing works. :confused:

Even tried this advice.
Didn’t help me.

Do you guys have any idea? It is connected to a TV with HDMI-CEC.

had same problem some time ago. Reset the ATV worked for me

do you use it now?
have you added it to discovery ignore list?
I’ve read it might help.

nope, after the ATV reset my problem was gone. Can’t remember on what version HA I was when I had same problem like you
