Apple Watch action by touching complication?

Is it possible to execute an action when a complication is touched? Like immediately directly after touch. So far, when I touch configured complication I get the list of all defined actions to select from.
Can’t understand - is it by design, so you don’t accidentally trigger something? Then why not create option for actions to require confirmation?

Or there is some way to link a complication to specific action rather then showing all actions menu?

Did you ever figure this out? I’m trying to do the same thing — I have multiple complications setup, and I’d like to only show certain actions when tapping on certain ones. I have a “House Mode” one that I would only like to see options for changing the house mode, and one for my car that I only want to show options related to the car.
