Sorry a beginner here. I have followed all the videos and tried my best to research this topic but for the life of me I can not get any actions to work on my Apple Watch Series 8. My iPhone is a 14 plus. Both have the most up to date operating systems. I have set up the action in the companion app and have set up a basic automation to turn a light on in HA. The automation works but when I try it from the watch…nothing happens. What am I doing wrong or missed. Any help would be greatly appreciated as this is driving me nuts. Thank you
Not sure if you figured it out yet, but you can check if you configured the right event as trigger for your automation. If you go in to the developers tab and go to events you can listen on event ios.action_fired and see if HA registers your event from your watch.
