Apple Watch complications 2024

I’ve made a couple of complications (circle in the companion app, with a template that’s correctly showing both the 0.14 for the ring and 14 for the stat text), but when I try to add it in the Apple Watch app, it just has placeholder as the only HA complication, which is just a HA icon. I’ve restarted the companion app and the AW app, but nope.

A bit of googling finds some posts saying that complications don’t work anymore, or others saying that some are retired.

Can anyone tell me the current status with these??

Same with my recently acquired Apple Watch. No luck getting anything but Placeholder to show up on the Watch. The app also only states Actions. It seems Complications are no longer supported at all. I really don’t care to use any Actions on my watch, only a few complications…it’s overly complicated :wink:

Real shame :frowning: I love the complications and when I realised that I could add HA stuff there, it was like all my Christmases had come at once!

I wonder if this is an Apple restriction? Anyone have any background on this?

I’ve now got ‘circular’ and ‘rectangular’ working with the modular face. If you stick to the ‘GRAPHIC’ ones, you should be ok. I think it’s the other ones that are no longer working.
