Apps do not work anymore in AppDaemon v4.5.3

After upgrading to AppDaemon v4.5.3, my Apps do not work anymore. I get an assertion error, but I can not find the reason:

after downgrade to 4.4.2, everything works.

Has somebody similar experience? Can somebody help on interpreting the error message?

It will be added to the next release most likely.
