APRS Integration Not Creating Devices

Hi everyone,
I have been trying to configure the APRS integration to Home Assistant and I’ve been able to get it working up to a point.

Integration URL: APRS - Home Assistant
Integration Author: @PhilRW

I’ve been able to get it to authenticate with various APRS servers and the Known_Devices file gets populated with the callsigns that I have designated in the configuration.
The device tracking setting is automatically set to True, again from the configuration setting.

The problem I have is that there are no devices or entities created in Home Assistant from the APRS service. There are around 18 callsigns auto-generated in the Known_Devices file, but nothing appears in Home Assistant devices and entities.

I have tried the configuration with and without my APRS-IS password, but it made no difference.

Here are examples of my configuration.

There are multiple auto-generated known devices, I left most of them alone, but I also tried editing some of them to change the name and the icon; it made no difference.

Thanks in advance for the help.
Tim

I also tried NOT tracking my own callsign which I used as HA’s identifier.
I also tried my callsign with the -15 suffix and without a suffix.

Hi,
Did you make any progress with this?
I am in the same situation and cannot get it working. Will not create any entities.

It actually started working a few days later.
The entities don’t show up under the APRS integration, but they do show up under the Entities list and on the Map.

I used the Greek APRS server because it’s closest to me but you can choose the best server for your location.
