Hi,
This is my first day with Home Assistant so go easy… I have set up Home Assistant on my MAC following the instructions provided here:
https://www.home-assistant.io/docs/installation/macos/
All is working well with most of my devices but when I have tried to configure apple devices I am asked to first add the following two lines.
$ sudo apt-get install libavahi-compat-libdnssd-dev
$ sudo apt-get install build-essential libssl-dev libffi-dev python-dev
I am adding these into “terminal” and keep getting the following error
sudo: apt-get: command not found
Can anyone assist
