I’ve been reading up on this a lot and it seems like most people have no issues with their aqara cameras (I have a G2H and G3) connecting via the homekit controller but I’m not having any luck. I reset them, pair with the home app, remove them from the home app, immediately HA “discovers” the camera, but when I click configure it just says “Please wait, starting configuration wizard” and spins forever.
I know when you remove from the homeapp (unpair with homekit) they should go into discoverable mode for pairing for at least a minute or two and from what I can tell mine are but only for a split second. If I look in the Home app under “Add Accessory” → More Options I see them listed for a few seconds before disappearing, no nearly long enough for HA to connect.
Any thoughts on what’s going on there? Everything else from homekit seems to work fine through the controller for me.
