Aqara devices unstable on Dongle-E

I’ve recently switched from a sonoff zigbee bridge to the dongle-e and experiencing dropouts with my Aqara devices.

They don’t show as unavailable, but they just don’t respond and I’m having to repair them often.

Really thought the dongle would be more stable than the wifi, but it’s proving not to be.

Hope someone finds a solid solution soon.

Hello, 1st post over here. Well everything works out perfectly for me except these Aqara door sensors.

Those ones are undetectable with my setup :

  • rpi3
  • SONOFF ZigBee 3.0 USB Dongle Plus E
  • Home Assistant with Z2M

Though I’m trying to pair those ones real close it’s not doing anything.

Anyone ever find a solution for this? I am fairly certain that this is related to the Dongle Plus E as I had the Dongle Plus P for over a year without any drops (using ZHA for a time and Zigbee2MQTT later) as well as a Conbee II with Deconz for a couple of years before that.

But the Dongle Plus E does exactly what is mentioned in this thread even though nothing has changed (locations, routers, etc) from the Dongle Plus P or the Conbee II setup.

Well, it seems that after all this time, compatibility is still an issue with some devices.
I have the P version of the Sonoff dongle Plus and Aqara devices are not working properly.

Connected 2 door/window sensors with ease. Immediately recognized by ZHA and showing up in my Devices and Entities lists.
Only thing is: no data is being sent afterwards. The sensors keep showing status ‘closed’ on the dashboard (and in configuration), even when door or window has been opened.
Also, additional data (like battery status) is shown as ‘N/A’.

I did take some steps to ensure good connection (following the advice given in this thread) and other sensors (from other brands) that are further away keep functioning perfectly.
The Aqara ones stay connected but don’t send any data back.

As I’m not inclined to switch to Z2M in order to keep my other devices working properly, I wonder if there’s a solution (apart from getting a different brand of sensors).
