Aqara door and window sensor via ZHA shown as EndDevice

Hello. I have added an Aqara door and window sensor through ZHA (Zigbee Home Automation) to my Home Assistant. Unfortunately it is not showing up as a sensor but as a so called EndDevice.

Here’s the entire device information:

lumi.magnet.acn001
von LUMI
Zigbee Coordinator

Zigbee info

IEEE: 54:ef:44:10:00:25:d3:8e
Nwk: 0x469f
Device Type: EndDevice
LQI: Unbekannt
RSSI: Unbekannt
Zuletzt gesehen: 2021-10-27T18:18:42
Energiequelle: Battery or Unknown

The two entities that is has are binary_sensor.lumi_lumi_magnet_acn001_ias_zone and sensor.lumi_lumi_magnet_acn001_power. ias_zone is “off” (that means always off and never on, no matter if physically open or closed) and ias_power is “unknown”. From all In know in other installations the sensor shout submit “Battery Level” and “open/closed status” properly.

Any ideas of trouble shooting?

Same problem here.
Have you found any solution?

This occurs with the new E1 sensors. At least with Deconz, the problem seems to have been resolved with the latest firmware. On the ZHA and the Z2M side they seem to know about it, so hopefully it shouldn’t take too long.

I had the same problem.

I use the Conbee 2 Zigbee dongle for the communication.
I have now updated the Firmware of the dongle and now the magentics does work. What still not working is the battery status. But at least the door status is working.

How did you update the dongle?

I had the same problem, but it is now working with ZHA after I flashed my ConBee II stick with the latest firmware deCONZ_ConBeeII_0x26720700.bin.GCF

I have used the firmware suggested device class is incorrect. Showing as on off rather then open closed
