Writing because I couldn’t find another thread with the same issue as myself.
I have several Aqara E1 Roller Shade Drivers, connected to the Aqara M2 hub, through HA using the HomeKit Device integration.
For the most part I have almost all control and info I need, Battery, UP/DOWN Control, however I am missing the STOP control.
Ordinarily it’s not the end of the world for me because most my automations are through using the LoraTap Curtain Zigbee Remote
It wasn’t until I stumbled across this post Aqara Curtain Driver E1 - #18 by crlogic?
Where @crlogic posted a screenshot of their device card which made me think there might be another way. I think they are using Z2M though.
I currently have a Sonoff Zigbee Dongle (P) and ZHA setup for all my Zigbee devices, I had tried to manually pair to HA via ZHA and had the same limited control as shown above, and it was an all-round worse experience as it didn’t report its current state as quick as it did via the HomeKit method.
Wondering if there’s anything obvious that someone has done or knows how to do to enable the control I’m missing, if it is just a limitation to ZHA and HomeKit then so be it but if there’s something else I should be trying I would love to hear it.
