The Aqara FP2 sensor has an esp32.
If we’re lucky someone might be able to figure out how to flash this with esphome and either get all functionality to work in esphome or at least basic functionality to avoid using their app.
Starting this thread in the hopes this esphome route can gain traction.
I’d be more interested in custom dev board with esp32 and this sensor. Could be half the price essentially.
Honestly flashing it will be the easy part, handling the device orientation, room and limit definition, multiple persons detection will be the part that requires the most work.
I guess it will come in time but for now no support seems to exist to handle the days coming from this type of sensor.
Has anyone found anymore information on the fp2 ESP32 clone possibilities?
