Aqara Hub M3 is embracing local smart home control

Home Assistant’s vision is: your system should run at home, not in the cloud.
Please watch https://youtu.be/3V0rXSUIIys?si=6BKwKin4XquBVnvS where Aqara introduces “edge computing”. Your smart home continues to function without an internet connection. Good to see Aqara is also moving to local control.

Aqara is also introducing a “Leader” hub and backup hub which ensures that your smart home continues to function if one hub fails.

Now that’s an interesting feature. Perhaps Home Assistant can be inspired by this?

I’d even be interested in if we could link the new me hub with HA and have redundancy that way too
