So long story short, my Aqara sensors have been disconnecting randomly and often, seemingly out of nowhere, with no changes that I can recall to HA. I ended up removing the hub from the Aqara Home app, and finally have been able to pair it again to a different app (Mi Home). Now HA sees the hub as a new device with all of the sensors attached to it.
However, the sensors are paired with their default names and are of course now not apart of any automations, dashboard cards, etc. Is there any way to somehow take the old sensor data from the unavailable sensors and copy this over to the new sensors on the hub that is now working? I really don’t want to go through hundreds of automations / dashboard cards replacing sensor information manually in each one, but this seems like the only way to fix this currently. The process would be to delete the old sensor from the unresponsive hub and add the new sensor on the new hub to everything the old sensor was used in. The worst part is I’m not sure why this even happened so I don’t want it to happen again after I spend hours doing all of this.
