Long time lurker, first time poster.
I’m going to take the plunge into Home Automation and I’m trying to work out what kit I need to order.
I like the idea of the dual switch that Xiaomi do that wires into the light switch. Everything I do needs to have a smart ‘physical switch’ so lights can be controlled without home assistant if needed.
I have a single gang switch that does the main light, but I would like to replace this with a double gang, where only 1 gang is wired to replace the main light switch and the 2nd switch is not wired just a ‘smart switch/button’ that controls sonoffs for the lamps around the room.
Does anyone know if the 2nd switch would work without physically being wired up?
There are 2 options for this switch, with neutral and without neutral. Can someone advise on which one would be best for my set up?
