Aqara M100 vs SONOFF Zigbee

For the record, I’m a complete novice at Home Assistant. I’m really using Home Assistant for complex automations that HomeKit could never do.

Most of my smart devices are either a form of Thread or Matter over Thread (Nanoleaf smart bulbs/strips or plugs) and Zigbee, which are only Aqara products.

I shifted the Zigbee devices over to the dongle, Matter over Thread over to the ZBT dongle. All working well and how they should, etc.

Then it occurred to me I have two Aqara M100 hubs… I don’t need the Sonoff device, as I can create Matter codes through the M100.

So my question is, is there any better reason to leave them on the Sonoff device? I mean, all firmware for the devices goes right through the window, I guess? Does Sonoff pull more entities through than Matter, etc.?

Anyone who’s had similar experiences would be great for feedback, or if you need more info to help answer this.
