Let me start by saying that I am a noob when it comes to using Home Assistant. I’ve been using HomeKit for a long time but I was missing some extra functionality when it came to automation so I wanted to try Home Assistant on the side. My first thought was that I would be able to sync all my connections from HK with HA, but I discovered that is not possible. So I started adding all my hubs to HA. This worked with everything except the Aqara Hub M2.
What have I tried:
If I first connect the Aqara M2 hub to HomeKit via matter, I can then add the hub as a HomeKit device in Home Assistant, but then I lose a lot of functionality in HomeKit.
Has anyone connected the Hub to Homekit (via the HomeKit connection) & to Home Assistant via Matter?
