I have 2 Aqara mini switches connected to an Aqara M2 hub that are connected to HA on a Raspberry Pi 4 via HomeKit. The two mini switches control 2 generic WiFi bulbs, bulbs are different brands.
Following a HA update, I don’t recall which one, it was probably about 6 months ago, they stopped working. I restarted HA and the switches worked again for several days.
Unfortunately the mini switches are now disconnecting multiple times a day. They only seem to work for short periods of time, about 30 minutes. Restarting HA fixes the problem every time but it’s driving my partner bonkers.
I have restarted everything in the system several times in different orders but with no improvement in stability.
I presume something is causing the mini switches to disconnect but I am at a loss as to where to start troubleshooting.
The mini switches are about 8 meters from the M2 hub and the batteries are fine.
Everything in the system is using the latest update for the device.
Can anyone shed some light on how to get the Aqara mini switches to work consistently.
I’m in the UK and using European configurations for every Aqara.
Thanks
